NATIONAL WILD TURKEY FEDERATION: The NWTF's National Headquarters is located a stone's throw down Augusta Road from The Inn. Visit their famous new museum and see them on the web: Visit NWTF

GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH: The famous Welcome Center/D.A. Tompkins Memorial Library, on the Town Square, has an extensive collection of genealogical records, attracting visitors from all over the country. Visit Tompkins Library

JOANNE T. RAINSFORD HERITAGE CENTER: Discovery Center for Region II of the S.C. National Heritage Corridor. Will open late summer, 2002.

OLD EDGEFIELD POTTERY: An extremely popular attraction, Nationally recognized Master Craftsman, Steven Farrell, creates authentic 19th Centurey-styled pieces using traditional techniques. Visit the Pottery

VILLAGE BLACKSMITH: Master Artisan, Linda Rosi, operates this newly restored, vintage Blacksmith Shop, creating all manner of iron implements just as they did in centuries past.

MAGNOLIA DALE MUSEUM: Located near the Town Square, Magnolia Dale is a well-restored Antibellum House, one of many in our community.

OAKLEY PARK HOUSE MUSEUM: Another famous Antibellum Home and museum very close by.

EDGEFIELD COUNTY COURTHOUSE: Built in 1839 and the focal point of our Town Square, the old Courthouse is a superb example of traditional courthouse archictecture of the period and worth a visit.
