DIRECTIONS TO THE INN:
From Atlanta or Augusta: Take I-20 East into South Carolina for five miles. Take Exit 5 to Hwy 25 North to Edgefield. We are just past McDonald's on the left.
From Florence or Columbia: Take I-20 West. About 50 miles from Columbia, take Exit 18 to Hwy 19 North towards Edgefield. After about 12 miles you will come to a stop light. Go straight onto Hwy 25 North for about five miles into Edgefield. We are just past McDonald's on your left.
From Greenville and Greenwood, S.C.: Take Hwy 25 South to Edgefield. Approaching Edgefield, turn right onto Alt. Hwy 25 and follow it all the way around town. Joining Business 25 on the south side of town, we are just on your right. |
| Description of The Inn
The Inn is a two-story brick facility featuring traditional southern architecture, which includes beautiful white columns supporting a wide portecochere. High ceilings contribute to the elegant, spacious feeling of our 46 guest rooms. All rooms are interior access only.
New Feature: FREE!! Fast Access DSL Lines from Bell South are currently available in all rooms, for use with lap-top computers. You will need to bring your ethernet cable -- this is NOT a WIRELESS SERVICE. Note: If you plug into the normal phone line and use your dial up service, you will be charged long distance fees by the Inn for the entire time you are conected, so be sure you use the fast access port!
There are 27 Queen-Queen Rooms with two queen-sized beds, appropriate furniture group, 25" color TVs and extensive cable service. All rooms are equipped with coffee makers and hair dryers. The quality of our rooms is on a par with the finest hotels in our region.
There are 5 Queen-Queen Plus Rooms, which are a little larger and include a microwave and mini-refrigerator.
We have 3 exceptionally comfortable Handicapped Rooms, which are completely wheelchair accessible. There is a king-sized bed in each and also a "love seat sleeper."
Our 5 King Standard Rooms feature a king-sized bed, of course, and upgraded furniture, including a writing desk -- very elegant.
Our 1 King Plus and our 1 Executive Suite are extra large rooms, equipped with king-sized beds, a queen-sized couch sleeper and the microwave and mini refrigerators.
Finally, we have 4 exceptionally lovely and spacious King Suites, featuring a lavish in-room Jacuzzi, king-sized bed, upgraded furniture, writing desk, and sitting area with a queen-sized sofa sleeper. There is also a seperate full-sized bath room with tub/shower, and the King Suites are equipped with microwave and mini-refrigerators. These Suites are very popular for weekend getaways and special occasions.
Additionally, we have a wonderful Exercise Room equipped with state-of-the-art "Nautilus" equipment. We have a Business/Meeting room that seats up to 25 people comfortably. Our guests also enjoy a very fine Continental Breakfast with ample seating in our breakfast nook and lobby.
